The payment was successful, and your transfer is on its way to the recipient.
If the recipient has the 'Autodeposit' option for Interac enabled, the funds will be credited automatically in just a few moments.
To receive an Interac transfer manually, your recipient will need to do the following:
- Find the Interac email sent to the email address you entered when making the transfer.
- Log into their bank account following the link in the email.
- Enter a security code provided by you to accept the deposit. Here's how you can find the code:
- SMS message: You will receive an SMS with the code sent to the mobile number your Paysend account is registered to.
- Paysend account: Find the transfer in the transfer history, click on it, and press the 'Notify beneficiary' button to reveal the code. - Wait for the funds to be reflected in their bank account within a couple of minutes.
What if the recipient can't find the Interac email?
- Ensure the correctness of the email address. Find the transfer in the transfer history and click on it. Scroll down the transfer page, and you will see the transfer details entered when making the transfer, including the email address in the 'Delivery' line.
- The recipient might need to check the 'Spam' and 'Promo' folders.
Please note:
A transfer to a Canadian bank account via Interac can be accepted within 7 calendar days after the Interac email is delivered to the recipient. Otherwise, it will be canceled on the 8th calendar day, and the funds will be returned to you."
