How to send money from your UK bank account (regular transfer)?

If you’d like to send money from your UK bank account using the manual bank transfer option, just follow these simple steps.

Step 1. Set up your transfer:

1. Go to the ‘Transfers’ section and click ‘Send’.
2. Select the destination country and the recipient’s currency.
3. Choose the receiving method (for example, bank account, card, or wallet).
4. Enter your recipient’s details.
5. Specify the amount you want to send or the amount you’d like the recipient to receive.

Step 2. Choose your payment method:

1. Select ‘Regular bank transfer’ as your payment option.
2. Click ‘Next’ to create the payment request in the Paysend system.
3. Then, log in to your personal online banking account to complete the payment.

Important information:

• Always send the exact amount specified.
  For example, if you’re asked to send 100.02 GBP, make sure the amount matches exactly. If it doesn’t, your transfer may be refunded.
• When transferring funds to your Paysend account, always include your transaction ID as the payment reference code.
  If the reference code is missing or incorrect, the funds may not be accepted.

Timing and refunds:

• If the funds are not received by Paysend within 3 business days, the transfer will be automatically cancelled and your money refunded.
• As soon as we receive your payment, we’ll send it to your recipient.
• Please note that transfer crediting times depend on the recipient’s bank and can vary from a few minutes up to 3 working days.
