If your transfer shows as processing, it means we’re waiting for your payment to be confirmed. This usually happens for one of two reasons:
- We’re waiting for your bank to approve the withdrawal.
- You need to verify your bank card if you’ve just added a new one.
Once your payment is confirmed, the funds will be sent to your recipient automatically.
Most payments are processed within a few minutes, but in rare cases, confirmation can take up to an hour.
How to verify your card?
If you’re using a new card, Paysend will make a small charge — between 0.50 and 2.50 USD — to confirm it’s yours. To complete the process:
- Tap ‘Verify card’ in the app.
- Enter the exact amount you were charged.
The charge will be refunded within 3 business days once your card is verified.
What counts as a business day?
Business days are when banks are open, usually from Monday to Friday. Weekends and public holidays don’t count as business days, so payments made then may take a little longer to process.
