Most Paysend transfers are completed in seconds, but sometimes a recipient’s bank needs a little more time. Depending on the bank and country, an international money transfer can take up to 3 business days to arrive, especially around weekends or public holidays.
What you can do
No action needed: If your transfer is still showing as “processing” or “complete” and it hasn’t been 3 business days yet, there’s no need to worry. It’s completely normal for some banks to take extra time to credit the funds.
Processing speed
The receiving bank’s processing times can affect how long your transfer takes:
- Card and wallet transfers: Usually arrive within minutes, but can occasionally take up to 30 minutes.
- Bank transfers: Typically complete within 1 working day, depending on the country and time of day.
Delays are more likely:
- outside of standard business hours
- during weekends or public holidays
- when a recipient’s bank needs to complete additional verification checks.
If it’s been longer than 3 working days and your transfer still hasn’t arrived, please contact our Customer Support team. Our specialists will be happy to review your case and help get things moving.
Tips
- Turn on push or email notifications to get instant updates on your transfer status.
- If the transfer fails, your funds will be automatically refunded, so there’s no need to request one.
