The payment was successful, and your transfer is on its way to the recipient. Please keep in mind that the transfer will not be completed unless the recipient has signed up and met the service requirements of our local partner E9pay.
If your recipient hasn't received Paysend transfers to their South Korean bank account before, they will need to do the following to accept the transfer:
- Find the SMS message sent to the phone number you entered when making a transfer.
- Open the registration link from the SMS.
- Follow the instructions to create an E9pay account.
What if the recipient can't find the SMS?
No worries, you can copy this link and share it with your recipient instead: https://www.e9pay.co.kr/csc/selectQuestionDetail.do?KIND=CSC&CUR_PAGE=1&SE_COD=02&RGST_DT=20191230&SEQ_NO=1&keyword=
If your recipient has already created an E9pay account, it shouldn't take long for the transfer to get processed. However, in rare cases, a receiving bank may need up to 3 business days to process a transfer.
What is a business day?
Business days are the days when banks are open for work, which is typically from Monday to Friday. When making a transfer, keep in mind that Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays are not considered business days.
