How do I receive money to my Unionpay card in China?

To receive money into a bank account linked to a Unionpay card in China, you will need to verify your identity through our local partner.

Once your sender makes a transfer to you, you'll be able to get the money in a few simple steps:

  1. Wait for an SMS with a verification link or follow the link from the instructions below.
  2. Verify your identity by providing your banking information and uploading your ID. You can follow the instructions laid out here: https://cdn.paysend.com/web/docs/kyc_register_process_for_beneficiary.pdf
  3. You should see the verification results right away and can retry it if it's unsuccessful.

Important

  • You will have 7 calendar days to verify your identity; otherwise, the transfer will be canceled on the 8th day.
  • It's important that you enter the same banking details as the ones your sender entered when making the transfer through Paysend.
