If your money transfer was cancelled or didn’t go through, don’t worry — it’s often easy to fix. Try again and make sure that:
- You confirm the transfer when prompted.
- You complete the 3D Secure (3DS) authorisation step by entering the one-time password sent by your bank.
- Your bank hasn’t placed any temporary restrictions or blocks that could prevent the payment.
- The card you’re using has been successfully verified in the Paysend app.
If the issue continues, try sending money using a different funding method — for example, another card, a linked bank account, or via Apple Pay or Google Pay.
What is 3D Secure authorisation?
3D Secure (3DS) helps keep your online payments safe. When you transfer money using a credit card or debit card, your bank may ask you to confirm the transaction with a one-time password, usually sent by SMS or generated in your banking app.
If you didn’t receive a 3DS code or the secure page didn’t appear, please contact your bank directly for assistance.
How do I verify my card?
When you use a new card for your Paysend transfers, Paysend will charge a small verification amount — from 0.50 to 2.50 USD. You will need to press the 'Verify card' button and enter the exact verification amount that was deducted to verify your card. The verification amount will be refunded within 3 business days.
