You have the option to transfer money to a bank account linked to a Unionpay card in China. This is perfect for large payments in CNY. Please keep in mind the following steps:
- Recipient's phone number: Enter the recipient's phone number when making the transfer. This is essential for the next steps.
- SMS notification: Once you have paid for the transfer, the recipient will receive an SMS from our local partners. The SMS will ask the recipient to complete a verification process. You can share these verification instructions with them: https://cdn.paysend.com/web/docs/kyc_register_process_for_beneficiary.pdf
- Pending transfer status: If your transfer is pending and the recipient has passed the verification by providing their banking details and uploading ID, please wait for the final status of the transfer within 3 business days.
- Troubleshooting: For the transfer to go through, your recipient should enter the same banking details as the ones you entered when making the transfer through Paysend.
Please note: The recipient will have 7 calendar days to verify their identity; otherwise, the transfer will be cancelled on the 8th day.
If there are any issues, such as mistakes in recipient details, the recipient not being able to verify their identity, or the transfer pending after 3 business days, please contact Paysend Customer Support.
